GFMS Portal is an online platform the Government of Madhya Pradesh developed to recruit, select, and administer guest faculty teachers in state educational institutions. The candidate can see their registration details via eKYC and/or change/update their details, such as their mobile number and any other qualification details.

In 2024-2025, the government launched the upgraded version of the GFMS Portal called GFMS Portal 2.0, which added some additional information, like Important Orders / Circulars from DPI. This platform is still being upgraded, and I will share the latest information if any significant information has been added to it.

GFMS Portal currently has 1202616 registered guests and 607161 verified guests.

Steps To Register on the GFMS Portal

Step 1. Visit the Official GFMS Portal on your desktop browser or mobile device

Step 2. Click on the New Registration Button in the top right corner

Step 3. Enter your basic details like your name, email, phone number, Aadhaar number, etc

Step 4. Create a Username and Password for future Use.

Step 5. Now submit the OTP received on your phone number, and done.

You have successfully registered on the Portal. You must upload your document and update the qualification information to apply for any position that best matches your qualifications.

Steps to Login and Update/Upload Qualification Details in the GFMS Portal

Step 1. Visit the Official GFMS Portal on your desktop browser or mobile device

Step 2. Click on the ‘Login‘ Button in the top right corner

Step 3. Enter your username and Password and click on the “login” button.

Step 4. After logging in, navigate to the Application Form section.

Step 5. Enter your personal information (name, date of birth, gender, address, etc.).

Step 6. Upload your educational qualifications (degree certificates, mark sheets, etc.).

Step 2. Click on the ‘Login’ Button in the top right corner

Step 3. Enter your username and Password and click on the “login” button

Step 4. Go to the Potential Vacancies for Guest Teacher to see district, block, and subject-wise vacancies. You can also see the vacancy on the map, which shows any vacancy in your nearby schools/colleges

Step 5. Select the subject and school/college where you want to apply.

Step 6. Click “Apply Now” and confirm your application.

Note: You can also print your application for future reference.

Steps to recover the Password for the GFMS Portal

To reset your GFMS Portal password, you must download/update the mShikshaMitra App. Please follow the steps below:

Step 1. Download the mShikshaMitra App from the Google Play Store. If you have already downloaded it, try to update it to the latest version.

Step 2. Launch the mShikshaMitra App on your mobile device.

Step 3. On the login screen, tap on the “Forgot Password” option.

Step 4. Enter your registered mobile number or email ID associated with your GFMS account and click submit to proceed

Step 5. Now enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email

Step 6. Once your identity is verified via OTP, you’ll be prompted to create a new password.

Step 7. Now, create a strong Password containing the alphabet, numbers, and unique characters and confirm it by resubmitting it in the field below and clicking submit.
